About Us
Submarine Crab started in 2014 in Garden Grove, Orange County, with a simple goal — to bring bold Cajun seafood to the table with a Vietnamese twist. Inspired by the flavors we grew up with, we blended classic seafood boils with garlic, lemongrass, and our signature sauces like Torpedo.
What began as one small shop is now a growing crew, but our core stays the same: fresh seafood, bold flavors, and good vibes. Dig in and get messy — it’s the Submarine way.

Ugh I love this place. The sauce is so good, the people are so nice, the ambiance is very cozy as it is a small shop. I have seen lines out the door but thankfully whenever i go theres no wait! They offer takeout as well if you don't want to eat there. The sauce for the seafood boil is so addicting. it has the perfect amount of seasoning and butter! Parking isn't the best as it's a busy plaza, but it is soooo worth the struggle.

Great new place for seafood boil! We ordered the Combo #3 and it fed four of us very well. Shrimp was plump and juicy, and the snow crab legs were cooked well - sweet and NOT too mushy or salty. Got the "torpedo" seasoning, which is everything mixed together, and the flavor was excellent! We also got medium spice level which had a really nice kick without overtaking the flavor. (If you don't like spice/heat, get no spice or mild.) Also tried the garlic noodles and they were delish! Added some of my crab to it - yum!

Love this place! The flavor is rich and delicious. Tried combo 2 with shrimp, mussels and snow crab! Service is very fast for a seafood boil place, definitely the fastest I have been to. Nice place to go for a causal date!

Tried a variety of items, including fresh oysters, Cajun fries, and their #2 combo (2 items/or two pounds of: shrimp, crawfish, mussels or clams $2 additional; and either snow crab legs, Dungeness crab legs or 2 lobster tails). We chose the torpedo sauce, which was a tasty combination of Cajun, garlic butter and lemon pepper - with medium spice level. The "mermaid" drink (passion fruit juice with Jelly & Crystal Boba) was served in a carafe with dry ice (very instagrammable/photogenic!) and could easily serve 2 people.
